Aruba Days is an independent guide to Aruba, researched from official sources, dated and checked, and written without invented experiences.

Aruba Days

How we work

Fact-checked from official sources

Every fee, rule and figure comes from an official or reputable source, listed on the page with the date it was checked.

Clear about partners

Some accommodation links are affiliate links. They never buy a place in the guide or change what we write.

In six languages

English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Italian — the same facts, written naturally for each language.

What is Aruba Days?

Aruba Days is an independent travel guide to Aruba. It covers the island's areas, beaches, sights, food, things to do, events, places to stay, weather and trip planning, in six languages. We are not a tourist board, a tour operator or a booking platform, and no business, brand or organisation pays to appear in our editorial content.

How do we research the guide?

  • Official sources first. Facts are taken from official and reputable sources: the Aruba Tourism Authority (aruba.com), the Aruba Conservation Foundation (Arikok National Park), the Departamento Meteorologico Aruba (meteo.aw), the official ED card portal, Arubus, WEB Aruba, the Centrale Bank van Aruba, government travel advice, operators' own websites and reference works such as Wikipedia.
  • Sources and dates on every page. The sources used are listed at the bottom of each page, together with a "checked on" date that shows when the facts were last verified. When sources disagree, we follow the official one or say that they differ.
  • Unverifiable means left out. If we cannot confirm a price, timetable or figure, we leave it out rather than guess, and point you to where the official information lives.
  • Corrections. Prices, rules and opening hours change. If you spot an error or something out of date, tell us through the contact form at /contact. We check every report and update the page and its "checked on" date once a correction is confirmed.

How do we use AI?

Research and drafting on Aruba Days are AI-assisted. AI tools help us gather sources, draft texts and produce the six language versions. They work under fixed editorial rules:

  • No invented experiences. We never publish made-up visits, anecdotes, personal reviews, ratings or people. Advice is based on documented facts — tide and current warnings, weather records, access rules — not on stories.
  • Every fact sourced. Each number, date, fee and rule must come from a source opened at the time of writing, and that source is listed on the page.
  • Licensed photos only. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences (such as CC0, CC BY and CC BY-SA), and each one is credited on the page where it appears.

How do we make money?

Some links to accommodation are affiliate links: Booking.com links may be routed through the Stay22 affiliate service. If you book after following one, we may earn a commission from the partner, at no extra cost to you. This income keeps the guide free. We never accept paid placement: commissions play no part in what we include, how we describe it or where it appears. Details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Who runs Aruba Days?

Aruba Days is run by the site operator, arubadays.com, which also publishes sister travel guides. We do not present invented writers or experts: the guide is the work of an editorial process built on sources, with AI-assisted research and drafting as described above. To reach us, use the contact form at /contact.
