Amsterdam Manor is a small, colourful resort of 72 rooms whose architecture mixes Dutch-colonial gables with a contemporary interior. Room types run from superior studios to two-bedroom suites, a penthouse and a honeymoon suite; the resort says family suites have fully equipped kitchens, which makes self-catering easy with a supermarket run.
The pool, set in tropical gardens, has a cascading waterfall, a shallow section for children and a toddler mini pool. Dinner is served on the sand at Passions on the Beach, and Horizons Lounge hosts a weekly managers' cocktail hour on Thursdays (17:30–18:30, per the resort). The concierge and car-rental desk can arrange cars and tours.
Location
The resort is at J.E. Irausquin Blvd 252 in the Eagle Beach & Druif area, across the road from Eagle Beach; a bus stop named after the hotel is just outside. The resort gives the airport as about a 15-minute drive. Palm Beach is a few minutes north by car.
