Why it's on our list
A 72-room low-key resort right on Eagle Beach with four restaurants, a spa and free daily yoga and Pilates. It suits food-focused couples and wellness-minded travellers; an optional all-inclusive package is sold separately.
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa fronts one of the widest parts of Eagle Beach, with thatched palapas on the sand. It was founded by Dutch hotelier Izaak "Ike" Cohen, and for only 72 rooms it runs four restaurants: Ike's Bistro, Pega Pega Café & Beach Bar, the Chophouse and the Omakase sushi bar inside it, with plant-based menus at all of them. Free yoga and Pilates classes are held daily overlooking the beach, and the spa offers treatments with island-inspired products.
Rates are room-only by default, but the resort sells a Premium All-Inclusive Package (from US$ 620 on its site in 2026) covering à la carte meals, a premium open bar and one dinner off-property. Manchebo reports Green Globe Platinum and Green Key certifications and has added solar energy.
