Aruba Beach Villas
Self-catering villas on the windsurf coast at Malmok · L.G. Smith Blvd 462, Malmok, Aruba
Why it's on our list
A low-key complex of studio, one- and two-bedroom villas facing the sea in Malmok, just north of Palm Beach, with kitchenettes and a pool. It is aimed at windsurfers, kitesurfers and beach people who want to cook, watch the sunset and stay away from the resort strip.
Aruba Beach Villas has 32 villas (the Aruba Tourism Authority listing also mentions 31) in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, positioned on the ocean side, around a courtyard or by the pool. Kitchenettes come with a stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and two-bedroom villas have full kitchens; there is air-conditioning, maid service and free Wi-Fi, and most units have a deck, balcony or courtyard. Guests share a pool and sun deck, beach loungers, barbecue grills and kayaks.
The property calls its waterfront Aruba's number-one windsurf launch site, and it sits beside the kitesurfing beach at Hadicurari. For the 2027 season it advertises free windsurfing for experienced windsurfers from 7 January to 15 April 2027 on direct bookings. If you are new to windsurfing or kitesurfing, take lessons: the trade wind here is strong and steady.
